Question:
I have many Wajib (obligatory) prayers to make up for, would I be wasting my time if I start doing Salatul Layl (night prayers) without attempting to complete these Wajib prayers? Should I do both, or finish my Wajib prayers first?
Answer:
Its ok to do your Salatul layl as long as you are not ignoring your lapsed prayers. you can also offer your lapsed prayers at the time of Salatu layl to gain the spirituality of praying at dawn and meeting your obligations.
