Is hair gel a problem for Wudhu?

Answer:

Hair gel is used to stiffen hair into a particular hairstyle, and it usually gives the hair a wet look (but its not wet or oily). There is no waterproof gel to my knowledge, unlike wax. But jurisprudentially if one is not sure whether it prevents  water to reach the hair or not, he has to assume it does and avoid it for making Wudhu or doing Ghusl.
